Some stunning light cutting through the now bare tree's at the weekend. . . #xc #scotlandmtb #woodland #scolty #bikecalledsven #Autumn #nature #scotland
I have no idea what heroin feels like. But I'm 100% sure it feels like getting a full set of these changed without exploding the frame as the home mechanic. . . . #paythedamnLBStodoit #stubborngit #shedtime #bike #mtb #enduro #toomanypivots #feelssosmooth
The road to being fully back to myself is well and truly underway. But being able to go for this jaunt with this wee legend. this was the best post-op milestone so far. . #tiw #balancebike
A short XC spin was on the cards today, the road to fully being back to myself is well underway. But it's a little bit more each week. . . . #xc #scotlandmtb #herniasblow #scolty #instabike #bikesofinstagram #bike #bikecalledsven #Autumn #nature #scotland #mtb #specialized
There is something unique about the experience of night riding. It's something I look forward to more and more each year. . . #night #winter #mtb #nightride #enduro #scotlandmtb #longexposure
I've not been on the bike for over 6 weeks, a hernia correction surgery and the associated recovery time were the reason for that. it's the kind of recovery I didn't want to mess around with as I was warned that if it didn't heal right, it would never be right. . But today, today was the first ride. An easy XC ride round the local hill. Just an hour or so, nothing technical. . But being out there, getting into the work, feeling the wind chill and just being able to ride my bike. It wasn't "an epic ride" but today, today was a good day. . . #xc #scotlandmtb #herniasblow #scolty #bikecalledsven #Autumn #nature #scotland
Adapt and overcome, when the perfect tool doesn't exist, make one. And if your not a machinist, just use loads if washers and headset spacers. . . #winning #bearings #toolporn #stravaigingmtb #shedtime
time to make the spinie spinie bits smoothie smooth again. . #shedtime #mbbearings #bearings #lamepost
Do you know what's awesome? Full suspension bikes. Do you know what's doubly awesome? A properly dialed hard tail. . With winter chapping at the door and with me still being off the bike post surgery. It seemed like the perfect time to get those fancy pivot bearings swapped over. . And the only thing better in the slop of winter than a full bounce is a sideways hardtail. . . #nevergofullenduro #enduro #mtb #mtbscotland #instabike #bikeservice #chainbreakerscc #royalracingroots #bensapprentice #spitfire #bearings
